As this blog has just been reset I thought I’d post some information about what I’ve been doing over the last couple of months. Other than following the economy, which is something that you all know I do very closely, there are a few (slightly boring) things that I wanted to talk about!
Firstly I decided to buy a new bread maker. Not the most exciting news I know, but I wanted to take control over my health and part of that is watching what I’m eating. I don’t think a lot of people realise the chemicals which go into supermarket bread – I certainly didn’t until a few weeks ago – and they aren’t very good for you. With a bread maker like the Panasonic SD2501-WXC automatic, which is expensive but high quality, you don’t have to worry about addictives in your bread. Plus it tastes a lot nicer.
I’ve also started playing bass guitar again. I used to play a lot (as long term readers will know) but I eventually gave up because I didn’t have the time to devote to it that I wanted. I’ve got a bit more free time on my hands at the moment so I’m trying to do an hours practice a day and starting to see some progress.
Other than that it’s been a fairly normal couple of weeks! Stay tuned for some more econonmy7 and finance related posts which I’ll be releasing over the next few weeks (if everything goes to plan).
